Because we are the preferred repairer for a number of Adelaide's leading strata management groups, we

frequently get to see the workmanship of some of our competition. These pictures serve to illustrate why

it is that we are a bit dearer.

We house all the control equipment in weatherproof (and antproof) enclosures. We could have posted about

a dozen almost identical photos of Merlin/Arco units like this one. Also the radio receiver was expertly fitted

in a plastic bag underneath an adjacent paver. When we add battery backup (as this unit has) we fit a locally

manufactured powder coated steel enclosure to house all of the controls. Customers can then change the

batteries themselves. Yes this unit is cheaper to buy, but it will cost way more once the cost of ant damage

and battery replacement service calls are taken in to account.

We use galvanized bolts on every single installation.

Yes these are tex screws. They hold the automation on to these 4 metre wide gates and the

residents of 16 homes use them everyday. Commercial installations like this need to be

very reliable. The automater probably saved about $3.00, but in the process he has cost this

customer yet another service call.

We insist on bolting on custom made galvanized brackets on every job we do.

Welding saved the Automater about $30.00. This repair likely took a couple of

hours to complete and let's not forget the incovenience to the 12 residents who

rely on this automation every day.
